Welcome to Camberley Junior Academy, on these pages you will find details on training times, contact details and follow some of our Junior Academy activities.

Camberley Junior Academy (School Year 11 from Sept 2026) will be following the RFU's "Rules of Play" philosophy:

• Provide a progressive player pathway that will enhance the way in which our players are developed in a more incremental manner
• Provide a game which is in line with the principles of Child Development based on extensive research and expertise
• Increase involvement of all players
• Emphasis on competitive performance not competitive outcome
• Encourage less structure (encourage skills and discourage fear of failure)
• Make the game easier to understand and referee
• Less emphasis on contact and more focus on continuity

Giving your boys the foundations to be able to run, pass, catch and support, will mean they have many years enjoying what is an ever growing sport. Whether socially in a club, university team or with work colleagues, or continuing in the path of former Camberley minis into professional, premiership and international players, it all starts with friends from around the region, learning fundamental rugby skills.

At Camberley we focus as much on team work; discipline and safety as we do on rugby skills, and our coaching philosophy is to ensure that all the children develop a passion for the game that will last for a life time.

• We train on Tuesday evening 18:00 until 19.30
&
• Thursday evenings 18.00 until 19.30
• With fixtures against other clubs across the season on Sundays at 14:00.
