Over 1,000 children across all mini's age groups and six local clubs participated. By the end of the day all you could see was smiling faces on the players enjoying their medals and talking animatedly with their parents about the day. No better testimony than happy kids enjoying rugby!! Well done

Thanks to all the coaches, squad managers and volunteers from set-up, parking, pitch marshals, cake stall, BBQ and clearing-up at the end it's great to see the everyone from across the club come together to put on such an important event for the minis!

All of this needs to be coordinated and huge thanks to Em Lacey who has been at the helm of the minis festival for the past few years, as Em moves up into U12's and the Youth Section next season we are looking for someone, or a group of people, to pick up the baton and organise next years festival. Em has all the plans, contacts and briefing packs from this year to be used as a template for next year so this isn't starting from scratch.
