After losing to H&F in the very first game of the season back in September, DOR Risey wanted the win and 47 points to go with it.
Camberley got off to a perfect start scoring 2 tries in the first 11 minutes. Jaid Wiltshire with the first converted by Liam Prescott and then a beautiful break by George Owen which was supported by Josh Lewanituva and then finished by Tom Chennell. Harry Faulkner converting.
The next 29 minutes Camberley were on the back foot and H&F really came into the game and scored two converted tries.

The second half saw both teams trading tries, firstly after a series of drives Dom Sammutt forced is way over, Liam converting. 21-14. H&F replied with a converted try. 21-21. At this stage Geroge was coming into the game increasingly, one of several breaks saw him score is first of the afternoon again converted by Liam. But good play for H&F saw an unconverted try. 28-26
Camberley finally took the game away from H&F with 2 quick tries. Alex Hughes scored the first (see picture above) after a monster break from George. Liam converting from wide out. Crowd favourite Adam Pickett scored his first of the season after a series of drives again Liam converting. 42-26. H&F hit back with a converted try. 42-33.
The final try of the season came from top try scorer George who gathered a loose ball and went 70 metres. This also took Camberley to 47 points for the day and 1000 points for the season.
The conversion was handed to Ash Wright in is final game for Camberley. After 7 seasons with the club which started at New Milton back in 2015. Unfortunately, the kick dropped short. Another player who announced is retirement was Oyoni Gbla after 9 seasons at the club. We wish both players well in retirement and hopefully see you around on the side-lines in the future.
