In memory of John Cook – Please see below a few words from Harry Fish:

We note with great sadness, the recent passing of John Cook, a member of Camberley RFC for over 40 years, and for a while in the 1980’s, the club’s Treasurer.

John was a nimble player in the backs, and like many of us, kept playing in his later years for the Vets, the love of the game and the club, to enjoy the social aspects, and camaraderie.
John was also a stalwart member of the Squirrels Golf Society, and attended many of the meetings held during the summer months each year. He will be missed by many who knew him.

John’s widow, Sue, says “thanks” to many who have conveyed messages of sympathy at this time.

John’s funeral has been arranged for 2pm on Thursday 18th March at Easthampstead Crematorium, with restricted numbers at the service.  Many have said they would like to say goodbye to John, via a webcast that Sue has arranged, to be viewed live, or up to 28 days after. Details are as follows:
