Whilst global events have impacted the majority of our costs, the executive committee have made some significant changes that have allowed us to keep most membership subscriptions unchanged for the fourth year in a row.

This a saving in real terms, a mini / youth membership in 2023/24 was £216, with inflation it should be £230 in 2026/27. It is still £216 and is available at the discount price of £205, until the 31st July.

For those new to the club, or as a friendly reminder to existing members: we are requesting subscription payments now to help maintain a steady cash flow throughout the summer months.

Members can choose to pay their subscription in full or spread the cost through monthly instalments.

How to pay your Membership Subscription

Please click here, select the appropriate membership category, click pay and follow the onscreen guidance to pay for your subscription. For parents please remember to tag the player when paying.

The most popular method for payment is direct debit, so all subscriptions are now by this method. We have removed the ability to pay your annual subscription by card. If you paid by direct debit last year the system will have retained these details and you can simply select them again, if you haven't paid by this method before you will need you bank sort code and account number to set this up.

If you’d like to make an additional donation, you can do so by clicking on general club donations and following the steps on screen.

Touch Rugby

We have introduced a new membership category for Touch Rugby at £120 per year. This is payable by individuals who are not already a member of the club as a player or a parent and wish to play touch rugby on a Thursday night from 19:30 to 20:30. Please see the team page here for more information.

Additional Players

We have found it difficult to track payments against bundled products. So this year we are making a change so that each member subscription will need to be set up separately. This also means the membership subscription categories are much clearer for all members in the club shop.

In order to pay for an additional player.

Step 1 - Please buy a membership, in the highest applicable cost category.

Step 2 - Choose 26/27 additional player in the club shop to buy membership for your additional player and obtain a 50% discount. Whilst this is a significant saving on full price membership it is an increase from £90 per additional player last year.

If you have more than one additional player simply repeat step 2 until they are all set up.

Please note additional player discounts are not available in Senior Men, Senior Women, Touch Rugby, Girls Rugby, Kinders or Social categories.

Social Membership

Social membership has increased from £81 to £90 for the year, available for £86 until 31st July

I'd like to help . . .

I am recruiting into the team for one or two volunteer membership administrators. The role will only take a few hours per week, most of which can be done from home, and involves;

• Updating the membership database in Pitchero
• Welcoming new members to the Rugby Club
• Issuing membership cards to new members
• Keeping squad managers updated on who has paid membership
• Work with squad managers to help resolve any membership queries
• Work with our members to help to set up payments
