On 29th November at the pre match lunch we presented these cheques to Besom and Wooden Spoon.

Greg Reeve (Besom), Saundra Evans, Neil Doody
Besom of Camberley is a local food bank, which also provides household goods for families who have nothing, in the Surrey Heath area.

Neil Doody, Nicole Edge, Matt Millander (Wooden Spoon), Saundra Evans, Billy White
Wooden Spoon is a rugby charity split into local areas that provides support for disabled children, both physically and mentally. We have supported this charity for many years as can be seen in the photo with the presence of Nicole Edge and Billy White, members of the rugby club who also have given up much of their time and energies towards this charity.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Neil Doody and Saundra Evans for their continued support of the raffle every home game, and without them this would not be possible.
We have already started to raise money for two new local charities starting with money from the raffle at the 29th November lunch. And so at one of the November 2026 Pre-Match Lunches we will hopefully present similar cheques to them to support our local community. So a huge thank you to all who contributed to the raffle this year and I have no doubt will continue to support the help we can give to those in need.
