Did you know the original Women's team was founded in the 1990's, this team evolved though many era's peaking to league promotion's and holding a winning National 7's title before numbers started to reduce mainly to retirement, with the last matches played in 2012. A short break, and new interest rose from within the club to start a women's team. Building from a standing start, 4 regular attendees grew to 10 and numbers continued to increased, within 18 moths we were playing competitive contact rugby again, joining the national league a season later, whilst continuing to grow into the team we have today.

With such a rich history of women's rugby starting in the pioneer era of women's rugby in 1990 we would like to honour past and present Captains and celebrate Women's rugby, all players past and present with visible acknowledgement and recognition in the form of a Captains board.

It may feel cliche, but every donation counts, in fact it's the smaller contributions that usually get this type of fundraiser over the line, and of course large and larger contributions are very, very welcome.
