Womens team ready to take to the pitch

Wednesday saw the return of the Womens XV recruitment nights #innerwarrior and was one of the best yet increasing numbers and awareness for the Senior Womens team and the local papers are echoing that.

Supported by the RFU InnerWarrior is a taster session for new players and those attending Camberley Womens Rugby events are growing strong. 80% of our players have joined after attending one of these sessions.

Head coach KimJohnson gave an interview to the Camberley News & Mail on the return of Women’s rugby to Watchettes and the planned growth for both Senior Women and girls rugby here at the club. (Its a great read make sure you get your own copy)

With the RWC2019 just around the corner, everyone can be part of one of the fastest growing sports international and here at the club. Why not you!

The Women’s team welcome new players at all training sessions which are held every Wednesday 7.30pm. Contact can be made via the club website and team FB pg and you are welcome to just turn up.

Their first ever runout is this Sunday 15th KO 2pm. Playing a 4 way XR7s v Alton & Farnham Aldershot & Fleet and Andover
