I've played at Camberley since I was 5, barring a slight flirtation with university rugby. I've played all over the forwards, even had a game at second row once! Inevitably I've wound up at prop, and I love getting the praise for winning a scrum, despite the second row doing all the work.

What’s your favourite rugby moment?

Japan beating South Africa at WC2015. Saved what was otherwise a pretty bleak tournament.

Owen Farrell - I love how much he winds up every other country

If you could meet a rugby player, who would it be and why?

Joe Marler, I reckon he's a cracking night out.

If you weren’t a rugby player what would you be and why?

Very fat...

Which law of rugby would you change and why?

Caterpillaring at rucks, slows the game and makes box kicking too easy.

What advice would you give to younger rugby players?

Get involved in the socials and always stick around for a drink afterwards, you'll enjoy it so much more.

Who inspired you to play rugby?

My dad, had me in the kinders at 5 and came to watch every Sunday without fail.

What keeps you motivated to keep playing?

Nothing better than a winning feeling after a game, so chasing that motivates me
