Last day of training – Funday

The last day of this season's training was marked by a fun day, with the emphasis on exactly that – fun really was had by all. With four different activities being set up everybody enjoyed a lot of variety in the day. Perhaps the sight of Coach Paul squeezing headlong through a padded donut took us all by surprise, but when he did it for the fourth time we all began to realise we weren't dreaming!
Mums and Dads were also very involved in the activities – with Mums showing the Dads just why they're renowned for multi-tasking by winning the first team race.
Last activity was Bulldog with the coaches starting off in the middle and the squad members showing them how it should be done!
At the end of the session all team members were presented with a medal marking their involvement through the year and everyone also received a bag of sweets.
Retiring team manager Kathy was presented with a card signed by all there thanking her for her service to the squad over the last two years, and as it was her birthday a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday was sung to her.
Thanks to all the Coaches for their tremendous enthusiasm during the course of the season and well done to all squad members whose rugby has improved so much.
