Welcome back to the new season. We look forward to an amazing year and this year will be our first year of matches!!!

Training has started well and the children have come back full of beans hoping for a season with little rain!

The U7s are aiming for a season where every child, no matter their ability, gets the opportunity to play in a team and have a go competing at Festivals throughout the year.

At the end of the season there is the club trip to Minehead, which is a great weekend - family fun and great rugby - a real celebration of CRFC.

For the children to get the most out of the season they need to be properly prepared.

Key to a successful season is warmth - we will continue to train and compete unless we are told not to.

For ALL U7s we ask all parents to ensure they wear the club colours but wear base layers to keep them warm, this is particularly important when the temperature begins to drop.

When the children take part in tournaments they need to be in the CRFC kit, available at the club shop, which is open during training.

The children will need boots for the festivals and they need rugby boots not football ones, as the studs are different. By the club shop are some second hand boxes where you can find donated kit - just donate some money and you can pick up some bargains.

Coming up there is a discount day in the club shop on 1st October!!!

We rely on parents playing an active part in the training sessions to be prepared to play bull dog and help teach rugby skills - this is what makes us such a great family club!!!

If you are unable to help coach please make yourself known to Lorna as we have many roles we need help with.

We look forward to another great training session this Sunday at 9.30am.
