Buy a Brick to help us provide new changing rooms for the Ladies

In this day and age, no club can stay still and hope to survive successfully. There is always a need to move forward. To this end, plans are being drawn up to improve the facilities at Watchetts. One of the key components of this is the construction of a new dedicated changing room for girls. It is planned that construction of this will commence in April 2018 and be ready for the start of next year’s season. Tenders will be issued early February and any club members who wish to be considered for this work should e-mail their interest to the club secretary at russellandfran@aol.com.
The club has been fortunate in obtaining a grant of £30,000 from the London Marathon Charitable Trust together with grants from Surrey Heath Borough Council and Frimley Fuel Allotments. However, further funds are required to be raised if the planned timetable is to be met.
We have launched our Buy a Brick campaign to help our facilities improvement. The bricks are ‘slip’ bricks that will be engraved with the buyer’s message and mounted either side of the stairs leading up to the bar. The bricks will be available in single and double brick sizes as per the samples shown below although the actual bricks will be black with gold lettering
Bricks are being sold at £50+VAT for a single and £100+VAT for a double.
