Jake played at Watchetts as a mini and junior before his family moved to Western Australia. His dad Dave was an outstanding lock forward who captained the 1s for several seasons, but in my recollection nothing like the size of Jake.
When Dave hung up his boots he took over as 1st team coach before the family move to Perth.
