The Players awards for the 3 Senior teams were announced at last night when the squads met up for the seasons Curry Finale.
The coaching team awarded MVP and MIP (for those of you who once thought C&W in my reports referred to Cable and Wireless these acronyms are - Most Valuable Player and Most Improved Player) and in addition the players in each team voted for their Player of the season.

The Development squad made awards to TommyA for his fleeting appearance last Saturday and to Wreaksey who still remains the longest serving player still registered to play for the 1s - he first registered in 2005 (2 years earlier than Hoff!!)

During the evening the squad also made presentations to physios Sophie and Liv who have both decided to move on (probably to get some free time on a Saturday). Both of the girls have given fantastic support to the players over the years and I am sure that they will be missed by everyone but in particular their well known regulars!!

Finally many thanks to Club Captain Roger Wood for organising and compering the event at short notice and to Lydia and Chris for ensuring glasses etc were regularly refilled.
