The U-12's took their first piece of silverware of the season, at The Guildfordians festival today, winning the plate.

However, more importantly, they undoubtedly played the most complete rugby performance yet by the A team, it really was something special.

Hard work by the forwards in the scrum, lineout and in the loose, coupled with quick ball, running at pace and very fluid passing through the backs really made for great rugby. After a narrow defeat to London Irish ( they have 140 boys to choose from at U12 !) Camberley went on to beat Farnborough 3-0, Wimbledonians 5-0 and Battersea Ironsides 4-0, to qualify 2nd in the group and then play in the plate final. After an official score of 1-1, despite Cam crossing the line 3 times and having 2 disallowed scores the trophy was shared.

A great days rugby - well played to all.
