A good Sunday morning for the U13's at Old Guidfordians, joint training followed by a friendly match. The team played really well together, especially in the face of some strong players in the Old Guildfordian squad. The home side were unfortunate to pick up two injuries to key players during the training and in the early part of the match.

Camberley played up hill in the first half and despite conceding an early try had a really good spell of play typified by some strong running and tries for Louie, Rosko, William, Max and Alex B. Guildfordians responded well and scored two tries late in the first half to take the half time score to 15-30 to Camberley.

With coach Simon managing the rolling subs Camberley were able to keep refreshing the team on the pitch and experiment with players in different positions ahead of the festival at Esher next week. The boys responded well they all learnt a bit about the different positions they were in.

Camberley started strong in the second half with tries from Reece and Ben H before conceding a try to Guildfordians, undeterred Ben H scored for the second time before Beau finished off the match with a dogged stretch for the line. Final score Old Guildfordians 20 - Camberley 50

A good game for the boys, still some aspects to work on in training but all in all good preparation ahead of the values festival next week.
