The Half Time Special

Almost 72,000 people attended Big Game 8 this year and at half time they were treated to a display of rugby by a very enthusiastic and excited squad of Camberley Under 8s and squads from Reeds Weybridge, Staines, Warlingham and Guildford.
The excitement (and noise) in the tunnel before the squads came on was amazing and when they were finally led on to the pitch it must have been a fantastic experience for everyone. Not many can boast they have played at Twickenham at so young an age, but they took to the pitch like true professionals. Well done to all who experienced this unique moment. Mums and Dads were very proud of you all. As it turned out, the main game between Harlequins and Gloucester, was something special with a final score of 39 - 39, the 3rd highest score for a draw ever in the Aviva Premiership.
