all the parents that made the event so special.
I did not realise how many people were involved in running a festival day, so if you did car parking, first aid, coached, kept the scores or one of the many other jobs - THANK YOU!!!! A special thanks to Lorna and Jo for organising us all - without their efforts it would not have gone so smoothly!
A key role today was feeding and keeping the children warm, so well done for mums and dads for this - I'm sure we all enjoyed a warm drink when we got home.
It was only 12 months ago that we started in Kinders and look at what we have achieved in such a short space of time - today by giving your time we showed our children teamwork, respect, discipline, sportsmanship and enjoyment - all of which are the clubs core values!!!
As for the children they were fabulous, supporting each other and applying skills taught over the last few months. Whilst some teams were more successful than others with results, the most important thing was that every child tried, competed and represented CRFC to the best of their ability.
Next week we are back to training and it would be good to see as many parents as possible continue to be involved with developing the core values. Please remember that as the weather changes warmth is key for all the children having a great time.
Another great success for the U7's - soon we as parents will have to go our for a Xmas drink, obviously this links in with teamwork and enjoyment!!!
Have a great week!!!
