The U7s first festival was a great experience for us all. The boys played 4 games, we lost two and drew one and finished the festival with a great victory.
Whilst we did not get into the finals a win and a draw was a fabulous result. All the boys were brave and competed in a way that made us all very proud.
Ian Bundock our tactician, referee and resource manager was great and ensured all the boys had great fun.
As a team we learnt a lot about festivals, we borrowed a tent from the U12s (thank you Tracey Dugmore) and pitched our team base!! Luckily the weather was great as was the company.
The boys at times produced some great team rugby and we racked up the tries!!!! Every game was close but the most important thing was the fun!! We look forward to next weeks festival where we will be aiming to 'face up' more in a line to tag and make fast runs.
Well done to one and all - boys you did us proud!
We hope training went well today - next week we will all be ready!!!!!
