G&T's get their first win of the new season!

With a lot of the lads away or unable to play this week, it was a real struggle getting a side out. But, true to form the guys pulled it together and a side made the short journey up the A3 to Eshers ground.
Cracking game of rugby ensued with Russ Kirby, fresh from a silver medal in the World Powerlifting championships playing a full game at tight head, the vets couldn't get over the line in the first half and the teams went in at 3-3.

After the break (and the obligatory G&T's in the changing room) the youth of Camberley shone though and when Esher began to tire, the guys flung the ball out wide to the youngsters and ran in the tries to see us over the line with our first win of the campaign. Great performance from the regulars in the team and some selection headaches coming up!
The next game sees the G&T's at home to our old foe Battersea Ironsides which will be played on Friday 27th under the floodlights...come down and enjoy a beer with the boys!
