Camberley Squirrels start their league campaign with a comfortable victory.
The first try was scored by Henry Tagg, who's kicking on the day was immaculate 8 conversions out of 8. Wimbledon then scored an unconverted try to make it 7-5. For the next 15 minutes Camberley were on top especially in the scrum and were rewarded with a pushover try from Ed Grovensnor. The rest of the half saw Camberley move away from the game plan and the game became very scrappy, uncontested scrums were partly to blame. On the stroke of half time an excellent backs move resulted with a try from winger Kevin Bell.

Club Captain Wood gave a vocal half time team talk and Coach for Day Benny asked for a Disciplined, Simple and Structured second half.
The desired structure was found led by MOM Ali Bradley and this resulted in 5 second half tries from Joe Wood who was excellent all afternoon, Ben Bowen, TJ Sim, Ali Bradley and Dylan McKenzie.
This performance showed good signs for the season and all players are aware if they want to be selected this season they need to be training every Thursday.
