The Camberley Kit Store – update Further to the e-mail from Richard Alcock in June, lots has been going on with the new store and we are pleased to announce that after a minor refurbishment the store will be open from tomorrow, Sunday 4th September. Some teams have already placed advanced orders for kits and this is still possible – just contact us at info@thecamberleykitstore.com for details. We have also agreed with Steve and Alison that we will help them sell off their surplus stock, so there will still be the opportunity to purchase some of last season’s stock at reduced prices if you want some training kit or wish to extend the life of current team strips. Opening hours for the coming season will be as follows: Saturday – 11am until 3pm Sunday – 9am until 2pm The store will also be open during the week but will operate on alternate Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the season. For clarity, that means that the first week will be Wednesday 7th September and the 2nd week will be Thursday 15th September. The following week will be the Wednesday and so on. The opening time for weekday evenings is between 6pm and 8.30pm. You will be able to purchase all of the usual items (except boots), as you’d expect, but keep an eye out for seasonal ‘specials’. As well as the items in store, there will be the opportunity to purchase items on-line, with considerably reduced lead times but the website is still under construction, so again keep an eye open for additional updates but this will include a range of leisure wear. A date for the diary is Sunday 11th September when Opro will be coming in to measure up for gum shields – this date is provisional but watch out for e-mails nearer the time to confirm.
